 n in September 1909. It was the VV&amp\;E (Vancouver\, Victoria and Easter
 n) Railway and it came up the Similkameen Valley from the US. Highway 3 ea
 st of Princeton lies right on top of the old railway bed. A few kilometers
  west of Hedley the highway crosses to the north shore of the Similkameen 
 River but the railway bed continues along the south shore.\n\nThis level w
 alk will take us along the river on the old VV&amp\;E railway bed. Bring b
 inoculars\, lunch and a drink. Dogs welcome.  Meet at Billy’s at 9 am.
