SUMMARY:Hike: Barcello Canyon near Cawston
DESCRIPTION:The outing on Sunday\, April 30 will be up the Barcello Canyon 
 (Blind Creek) above Cawston.\n\nMeet at Riverside at 9:00 a.m. to carpoo
 l to trailhead which should be about 50 minutes.  The hike should be appr
 ox. 4 hours and is moderate in difficulty.  Uphill with about four crossi
 ngs of the creek.  Lunch probably at waterfall or else at viewpoint highe
 r up depending on the timing.  If some don't want to go up to the viewpoi
 nt\, we could possibly split into two groups although it's only about anot
 her ½ hour.  The view is certainly worthwhile as you can see a long wa
 y to the south over Cawston and the Similkameen Valley.\n\nWear appropriat
 e footwear and clothing for the forecast\, bring lunch\, water of course.
   Looks like it'll be sunscreen season by then.  There are mid-high 20s 
 in the forecast at the moment.  There is quite a bit of shade along the c
 reek.\n\nHike starts on Daly Drive.  Turn left off Hwy. 3 onto Daly\, cro
 ss Upper Bench/Barcello Road and park along fence where Daly takes a right
