DESCRIPTION:The outing on Sunday\, July 9 will be up the Barcello Canyon (B
 lind Creek) above Cawston.  This is the outing that was aborted at the end
  of April due to high water in the creek.\n\nMeet at Riverside at 9:00 a.m
 . to carpool to trailhead which should be about 50 minutes.  The hike shou
 ld be approx. 4 hours and is moderate in difficulty.  Uphill with about fo
 ur crossings of the creek.  Lunch probably at waterfall or else at viewpoi
 nt higher up depending on the timing.  If some don't want to go up to the 
 viewpoint\, we could possibly split into two groups although it's only abo
 ut another ½ hour.  The view is certainly worthwhile as you can see a lon
 g way to the south over Cawston and the Similkameen Valley.\n\nWear approp
 riate footwear and clothing for the forecast\, bring lunch\, water of cour
 se.  There is quite a bit of shade along the creek.\n\nHike starts on Daly
  Drive.  Turn left off Hwy. 3 onto Daly\, cross Upper Bench/Barcello Road 
 and park along fence where Daly takes a right turn.\n\nPlease RSVP if you
