SUMMARY:Hike: Vortex Mountain to Agate Mountain Fire Lookout
DESCRIPTION:Hello members\, a naturalists’ outing is organized for this c
 oming weekend. It involves driving up a gravel road which will not necessa
 rily be in good condition\, so it is suggested that only vehicles with hig
 h clearance are desirable. There are no water bars to hinder travel (as fa
 r as I know).\nParticulars:\nDestination: A hike from Vortex Mountain to A
 gate Mountain Fire Lookout and back. From Vortex Mountain you will get an 
 incredible view of mountains to the West. From there we follow an existing
  old trail which is an old road that goes all the way to Agate Mountain. A
 long the way there may still be some flowers\, although in spring this are
 a is covered in amazing flowers\, but with this hot weather they may not b
 e around. Also a pair of peregrine falcons have been seen at the top of Ag
 ate Mountain. From the lookout you get a splendid view of the Similkameen
