DESCRIPTION:John will not be leading an outing on Easter Sunday.  His next
  one will be Saturday\, April 6 to accommodate the next Museum speaker on 
 the 7th.\n\nI thought this might be a good time to offer a shorter outing 
 to the canal/irrigation ditch about 2 km up China Creek FSR.  The walk st
 arts with short steep descent to the canal and then follows the canal whic
 h is\, I believe\, a 1 or 2 % grade\, basically level.  Yesterday there w
 as some bits of snow and icy parts towards the end which will likely melt 
 before Saturday.\n\n\nDATE: Saturday\, March 30\nTIME and PLACE: @ 1:00 p.
 m. at the Weather Office parking lot on Airport Road (to carpool)\nLEVEL O
 F DIFFICULTY: Easy\nDURATION: about 1-1/2 hours - about an hour of walking
