DESCRIPTION:Dave is a Vegetation Ecologist with Agriculture and Agri-Food C
 anada in Summerland\,\nBC\, where together with a team of technicians and 
 graduate and undergraduate students\,\nhis research program focuses on the
  ecology and evolution of invasive plants and their\nbiological controls\,
  Indigenous food systems\, and non-crop vegetation in perennial\nhorticult
 ure crops like wine grapes and apples. He has undergraduate (BSc. Hons\, 2
 011)\nand MSc (2013) degrees in biology from UBC Okanagan in Kelowna. He c
 ompleted his\nPhD in Biology at Queen’s University (2019) where he studi
 ed the evolutionary ecology of\nspecies range limits\, or why species occu
 r where they do\, and not where they don’t. When\nnot at work\, Dave enj
 oys mountain biking\, backcountry camping and keeping invasive\nplants out
  of his yard with his family!
