DESTINATION: This outing is more of a hike done on Nature Trust grounds. We will be doing a loop beginning at the airport subdivision following an old trail that goes down to China (Asp) Creek, from there we connect with the old trails/roads that go down to China Creek again and then up to the Currie Canal, and back down to down to the cars.
DATE: Sunday, Nov. 5th
TIME: 10:00 am
MEETING PLACE: Airport Subdivision (read directions below).
HIKE DURATION: 4 + hrs
LEVEL OF DIFFICULTY: Moderate with some steep hills.

…bring lunch & water
…there might be some snow near the creek so bring hiking boots & gaiters
…dress appropriately–layering is best
TIP: Make sure that you waterproof your footwear!
DIRECTIONS: Take airport road; go past the weather station; just before the cattleguard, turn left; follow the road until it starts to turn north; at that point turn left again; the road heads toward the airport fence; the road is now a dirt path; stop and park car.
