This is an area that few of you have visited unless you are a x-country skier and even then some of us ski it when conditions are good and stay away when conditions are undesirable. We needn’t worry about that now because the trail is very walkable. We will be doing the Harker Trail in reverse. Starting from Fence Fun where we will park vehicles (only cars with high clearance are desirable) and walk up to the beginning of the Harker Trail and walk down the famous Chilkoot Pass (named by a former VFFN naturalist). We go down and then come up where we will visit numerous meadows which will be full of flowers & other things? We will make a loop coming back to the parked cars.
