Wendy Stewart was hooked on cameras as a little girl when she had a peak through her grandmother’s Brownie Starmite camera in the early 1960s.
Through film, digital, and soon, mirrorless cameras, Wendy’s love of photography has enriched her travels to exciting and beautiful places around the globe.
The appeal of another photography adventure was balanced with a hectic career as a journalist and then as a public servant working in government communications offices.
Now retired in Penticton, Wendy was able to visit Australia in late 2018 and again, right before the pandemic hit. The visits were immersed in the diverse nature of the Melbourne area, which she will speak about in her presentation on June 14.
